Strategic noise maps were prepared using a systematic approach, which has included seven main phases: defining areas to be mapped, defining noise indicator calculation method, defining data required for calculation, collection of data required for calculation, data processing and adjustment for calculation purposes, noise indicator calculation and analysis of obtained results, and their presentation in accordance with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Serbia. The relevant section of the studied corridor included settlements or parts of settlements in Stara Pazova, Nova Pazova and Zemun. Noise indicator calculation for road traffic was made by French method NMPB-Routes-96 and using software package “Predictor-LimA Type 7810”. The number of noise-affected people in populated areas was estimated by LKZ method. Analysis of the strategic noise mapping results for the section concerned was made using already prepared templates for numerical data representation to the public included in Attachment 2 to the Rulebook on the content and methods for developing strategic noise maps and their presentation to the public (“Official Gazette of the RS”, No. 80/2010). A graphical presentation of strategic noise maps for the night period (noise indicator Lnight ) and the day-evening-night period (noise indicator Lden) have been prepared in accordance with Attachment 1 to the Rulebook on the content and methods for developing strategic noise maps and their presentation to the public (“Official Gazette of the RS”, No. 80/2010), which defines the colours for each noise level.
