The Belgrade bypass from Bubanj Potok via Vinča to Pančevo consists of a single-track railway bypass and a highway bypass in the same corridor, with joint road-railway bridge over the Danube River. The technical documentation envisaged the E-70/75 highway, bypass route from Belgrade to Pančevo, sector C from km 596+670 to km 627+650, in the territory of the city of Belgrade and the city of Pančevo for speed of 120km/h, 30.98km long, with 4 traffic lanes, 2 emergency lanes and central reserve.
There design includes 4 grade-separated junctions: “Boleč”, “Starčevo”, “Pančevo East”, “Pančevo North”, 2 tunnels – “Bubanj potok” tunnel with 1311m long left tube and 1270m long right tube, and “Leštane” tunnel with 704m long left tube and 724m long right tube, as well as 17 bridges, 170 m long in total.
The following utility infrastructure was designed: water supply system, rainwater sewage system, electrical infrastructure, public lighting system and telecommunication system.
The Beli Potok – Vinča – Pančevo bypass railway line was designed as a single-track line, 29km long, for speed of 120km/h. Three new stations were planned: Boleč, Pančevo Freight and Pančevo Racetrack with station buildings and access roads. The design also envisaged 2 tunnels in the total length of 2523m, 11 bridges in the total length of 1210m, and 3 overpasses.
The major structure on the railway line is a road-railway bridge over the Danube River. The total length of the road-railway bridge is 1805m, while the total length of the road bridge is 1300m.
The following designs were completed:
– General Design with Preliminary Feasibility Study,
– Preliminary Design with Feasibility Study.
