{"id":5421,"date":"2024-10-14T15:45:40","date_gmt":"2024-10-14T13:45:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sicip.rs\/cipteam-at-the-conference-on-traffic-engineering-techniques\/"},"modified":"2024-10-14T15:45:40","modified_gmt":"2024-10-14T13:45:40","slug":"cipteam-at-the-conference-on-traffic-engineering-techniques","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sicip.rs\/en\/cipteam-at-the-conference-on-traffic-engineering-techniques\/","title":{"rendered":"CIPteam at the Conference on Traffic Engineering Techniques"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Organized by the Department of Traffic Planning and Control at the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering, University of Belgrade, the 14th Scientific and Professional Conference on Traffic Engineering Techniques &#8211; TESi 2024 was held.<\/p>\n<p>Topics in the field of traffic design were discussed for two days, from 10th to 11th October 2024, in 5 sessions and roundtables. Representatives of the Institute of Transportation CIP attended and participated in the exchange of experiences on planning, study activities at different levels of technical documentation, design, evaluation of planned and achieved results, project implementation and monitoring in real conditions of operation, with identification of critical factors in the traffic environment.<\/p>\n<p>Our traffic engineers contributed to the quality of the Conference with the presentation of two papers (sessions: Traffic Design &#8211; Challenges and Experiences, Road Traffic Efficiency) and active participation in the roundtable &#8211; Traffic Engineering and the Serbian Chamber of Engineers, bringing real-life situations from daily engagement in traffic-related activities through the design of major infrastructure projects, both in the territory of the Republic of Serbia and the region.<\/p>\n<p>The conference gathered a large number of experts, led by the scientific and teaching staff from several departments of the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering, designers employed in public companies, local self-governments and design organizations, as well as manufacturers of traffic signs, signals and equipment.
