Institute of Transportation CIP participated in the 12th Congress on Transport Infrastructure & Transport, which was held in Sarajevo in the period 11-12 May 2023.

The Congress was organized by the Association of Consulting Engineers of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

A team of CIP engineers presented papers from the following current projects of the Belgrade – Novi Sad – Subotica – Hungarian border high-speed railway line, which were completed or are currently being implemented in the Republic of Serbia:

  • Application of traffic simulation in the planning and analysis of the effects of construction, reconstruction and modernization of the Belgrade – Novi Sad – Subotica railway line project.
  • Design of traffic control system on the first railway line in Serbia for speeds up to 200km/h. This includes presentation of designs of signalling and interlocking devices for ETCS-L2, and GSM-R system on the Belgrade – Novi Sad – Subotica railway line.
  • Applications of technical specifications for interoperability for persons with reduced mobility – TSI-PRM

The presented projects obtained certificates from the authorized European bodies, in terms of applied European specifications for interoperability – TSI, which means that all performances for smooth running of trains have been met, so that this railway line is fully integrated into the system of European railways.

Institute of Transportation CIP had a presentations at the Congress that contributed to the noticeable interest of a large number of participants from the region. Through discussions of experts from the railway sector, experiences from different railway domains were exchanged. With its remarkable presentation, CIP contributed to future plans for design and development of railway infrastructure in the region, and once again confirmed that CIP is company qualified to implement projects both in Serbia and in the region.
