Design of technical protection measures is based on the Environmental impact assessment study for the Construction project of the E-763 highway, Preljina – Požega section, km 117+447.02 – km 147+675.00, approved by the Ministry of Environmental Protection. Based on topographic maps, topography, completed field investigations, sensitivity of the area and quantification of important impacts, the following measures for protection of population and environment were defined: technical measures for air protection; technical measures for protection of land, ground and surface waters; technical measures for noise suppression; technical measures for protection of vegetation-flora system; technical measures for fauna protection; technical measures for protection of population; technical measures for protection of natural resources and technical measures for protection of cultural properties. The calculations and optimization have shown that 11 noise suppression structures in the total length of 3882 m and in the area of 9518 m2 need to be constructed for protection of affected residential buildings and other sensitive facilities.
