Construction of the Kuzmin – Republic of Srpska border highway with the border crossing and the bridge over the Sava River

The Kuzmin – Republic of Srpska highway significantly improves the connection between the Republic of Serbia and the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, namely it connects the E-70 Belgrade – Batrovci – Zagreb highway with the Bijeljina – Brčko road on Corridor Vc, as well as with Sarajevo to the south and with Banja Luka to the west.
The technical documentation envisaged the 17.9 km long highway for speed of 130 km/h with 4 traffic lanes, 2 emergency lanes and central reserve. The design includes 9 bridges, one of them is the bridge over the Sava River designed as a steel bridge on concrete piers, 1322 m long, 2 grade-separated crossings and 5 overpasses.
The following designs were completed:
– Detailed Regulation Plan
– Preliminary Design with Feasibility Study,
– Building Permit Design,
– Detailed Design.
