The presentation of the audio-visual information system (AVIS) for railway passengers was held today at the business premises of the Institute of Transportation CIP.
The AVIS system was implemented in the infrastructure of Serbian railways, initially at the Belgrade Center station and the Karadjordjev Park stopping place, and then further improved and expanded to other establishments. The AVIS system is currently in operation at 18 establishments, integrated with 253 information boards and 17 audio controllers, informing passengers about over 240 train departures and generating over 1300 messages per day.
The presentation of the system and the workshop were organized by experts from the Enetel Solutions Company who shared their valuable experience with experts from the Institute of Transportation CIP and the Serbian Railways Infrastructure JSC.
