A professional visit and presentation of civil engineering achievements: “The E 763 Preljina – Požega Highway” were organized by the Serbian Chamber of Engineers – Section of Civil Engineers, Belgrade, in cooperation with PE “Roads of Serbia” as the Investor, CPL as the Engineer, and CCCC as the Contractor. The Institute of Transportation CIP prepared the complete technical documentation for this section, and therefore a number of designers from the CIPTeam participated in this visit.
The aim of the visit was to familiarize the participants with the application of technologies in the construction of service facilities on the highway, as well as the methods and specifics of their construction.
As part of the visit program, members of the Serbian Chamber of Engineers saw a short project presentation, and then they visited the following locations on the section:
– Section 3 – from the Prelјina interchange to the Pakovraće interchange – Works on Detour 9 and structure K1 – Works on section 1 – entrance and exit portals of the Laz tunnel – Visit of section 4 and the Lučani interchange – Visit of works on the Munjino Brdo tunnel
Through this visit, CIP designers confirmed the importance of cooperation with representatives of the Investor, Engineer, and Contractor.
